Do you feel bored, restless, unsettled?
Do you feel that there is nothing new in life to experience, see or do?
Do you ever feel that everything is just passing you by?
Does life feel dull, flat, on repeat?
Does what once used to excite you just doesn’t do it anymore?

Do you feel like your life is one of those old black and white movies (beautiful as they may be!) but that all the colour’s gone from it and you’re just going through the motions, robotic, on repeat?

If you take the time to notice and to listen to those feelings you will likely find there is more going on beneath the surface. Perhaps fear has crept in and is holding you back. Stopping you from trying new things, from breaking out of routine, from getting off that plateau that used to be comfortable but now has you feeling trapped?

If we stop and take the time to really look at our lives, become the observer and really see our lives through new eyes, we can discover what feels negative, what is keeping us stuck and why. We can pinpoint where we feel trapped, stuck and see that as a positive sign that we are ready for change. That we are ready to step out of the cage we feel we are trapped in and set ourselves free.

It’s important to stop and acknowledge our feelings, to really take the time to understand what is going on inside and why. What is it about your life that you feel bored with? Is there something in particular that has left you feeling on auto-pilot, just going through the motions, devoid of any real emotion? Or passion or drive?

Rather than just settling or coming up with all the reasons why you can’t change things about your life start to think about all the ways you can create change. And it doesn’t have to be big things. In fact, the smaller you start the more likely you are to go on to create real, lasting change in your life. Think about small ways you can start to create new habits, bring things that re-ignite your and bring passion back in to your life.

Think about this analogy of a fire.

The fire once burned bright, bringing warmth and radiance and light to everyone who sat around it.
But, gradually over time, it died down.
When it wasn’t being tended to, it seemed like it had completely gone out. Bringing no more heat, there seemed to be no fire left.

But underneath the embers of the seemingly extinguished fire there was an ember.
Just one tiny ember that was just aglow. And if you took the time to blow on that ember, you’d find that it grew brighter. That it could be brought back to life.

And if you spent enough time doing that, that one tiny ember would turn, slowly but surely, into a bright, blazing, radiant, glowing fire again.

You see, it doesn’t take much but if we take the time to find that tiny ember still burning inside ourselves we can reignite ourselves.
We can bring passion, joy, drive, energy and excitement back into our lives.

And just like that tiny ember, there is no limit to how big and bright a fire it can be transformed into.

So give yourself the gift of stillness so you can take the time to find that ember that, I promise you, is absolutely still burning within you.
Keep tending to it, keep focusing on it, keep nurturing it…and see it roar back into life!

We can change, shake off restlessness and boredom, at any stage and at any age in our lives. It’s never, ever too late to change. To transform and reboot our lives to a place that feels rich, exciting and new.

Any of that sound familiar?
So, how to get unstuck?
How to start living, I mean really living, again?

Think about this seemingly simple question:
Do you Know Yourself?

Be honest with yourself, do you really know yourself?
And I don’t just mean looking in the mirror and seeing the reflection that stares back at you. I mean deeply, intimately know who you are and what’s important to you.

If you don’t know yourself you can’t really know what you want, and if you don’t know what you want with clarity then it’s very difficult, or impossible to achieve your ultimate success and revenue goals.

The biggest problem with this is that so many of us are living other peoples dreams, trying to live up to others expectations of us and not our own.

Would you answer yes to any, or all, of these questions?

  • Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night wondering why life just doesn’t feel satisfying? Knowing the you want more but wondering why it feels out of your reach?
  • Do you put others needs before your own? Do you end up feeling like your needs are less worthy than other people’s?
  • Do you find what you used to love just doesn’t do it for you anymore, just doesn’t bring you the satisfaction and joy it used to?

So what’s the Solution?

You’ve got to really know yourself.
To recognise when your fires gone out.
To be honest enough with yourself to acknowledge that what used to bring you joy now feels flat,
robotic, soulless.
And to give yourself permission, at any stage and at any age for life, to change. To become the
person who you really need and want to be.

So what changes when you have the courage to do this, to really know and be honest with
yourself?

  • When you really know yourself taking risks no longer feels like a risk because you just know and trust yourself to achieve the goals you’re setting for yourself, which ultimately brings you a whole new level of satisfaction.
  • Life is no longer bland, flat, boring because you’re being true to yourself and what matters to you most
  • You put yourself first because you realise that you are the most important person in your life and by being your best you you have way more to give and share with others, way more to contribute.

Try this…right now!

Write down 3 things that you would really love.
More money, a new job, a promotion, to travel, to start your own business, a relationship, better health…whatever it is for you.

Write them down, don’t overthink it. The first 3 things that come into your mind, those first thoughts are always the ones closest to our hearts and our truths.

Read that list daily, make it the first thing you read in the morning and the last thing you read at night. Make it your screensaver, stick in on your mirror, put a note on the dash of your car…

Put it anywhere, or everywhere, you can! Make sure you see that list and read that list as many times each day as you can.

And be grateful for those 3 things right now. As if they are already yours.

Then take action that will lead you in the direction of those things that your heart desires – and very much deserves! Want them so badly that every decision you make will take you a step closer to what you want.

Because when you change your mindset you change your life.
We all deserve to live life s fully as possible, to live our dreams.
So why not start today?
